If one man can make his latest dreams become reality, it is the boy from Kuwait who is already being proclaimed The King of Salford.
Despite the team currently being at the bottom of the Super League, Salford’s owner Marwan Koukash has promised great things for next season, aiming to make the Reds a major force in rugby league.
How do you feel about the new developments going on around Salford?
Peel Holdings are a big name in Salford, and are perhaps most well known for owning the Trafford Centre, and various other big developments around the city.
It’s no secret that funding for galleries, museums and historic institutions is tight, and that budget cuts have been rife over the last few years. However it now seems that this struggle for money has reached Salford’s own historic house, Ordsall Hall, and it may now be facing closure on Fridays.
Not only did Salford’s very own architectural treasure Ordsall Hall win the national Building Conversation Category at the RCIS Awards last year, but in November they also snagged ‘Best Small Visitor Attraction’ at the renowned Manchester Tourism Awards.
A couple of weeks ago, proposals for the Middlewood Locks site in Salford were finally revealed to the general public.

On the 13th of this month, MediaCityUK saw the launch of a new cross city bus route which will allow people to travel between Manchester and the Salford Quay’s area.
