This new offering comes from Stagecoach Manchester, a leading bus operator in the region, and has been devised in the hope of making commuting between these two spots much easier for local people.
The service runs 7 days a week, and will run between MediaCityUK and East Didsbury, passing through the city centre on its way. This new ‘50’ route will even offer University of Salford staff and students free travel between MediaCityUK and the Adelphi Street/Oldfield Road campuses. With many professionals now living in the suburbs of Manchester, such as East Didsbury, Councilors and directors at Stagecoach thought it only fitting to have a bus service that allows such individuals to travel more easily to key areas in Salford, such as MediaCityUK.
Not only will this new route make travelling and commuting much easier for many people, it is also a step towards reducing cars on the road, and ultimately helping pollution and congestion in the Manchester and Salford areas.
