Great news that a local cheerleading team have won a national competition. Horwich Hunters Cheerleading Squad recently competed in the Spring Nationals against 60 others squads and brought home first place.
Strongman Bolton, another fantastic event to look forward to in Bolton this summer. Taking place on 28th July to coincide with the start of The Olympic Games, Strongman Bolton brings the town together through sport, training, spectating and competition.

Get Active Bolton are encouraging us to get fit & healthy through walking & as such are offering a FREE 1 day training course 'Walking for Health' where you can train to become a volunteer delivering short walks for the community or in the workplace.

Great news that Bolton Old Links Golf Club have recently received the coveted national Golfmark Award from the English Golf Union.

The Olympic Torch Relay will pass through Bolton on 31 May and an evening concert will take place in the town's Queens Park. Two local men will be among the few selected to take part in the relay.

Bolton One opens its doors in early February and membership for the health and fitness centre has now gone on sale.
