Great news that local cheerleading squad Horwich Hunters came back from the UK Cheerleading Association Spring Nationals victorious after beating more than 60 squads from around the country.
Hunters took part in the competition last year but came back in bottom place so this year marks an incredible achievement for the squad.
The squad which is headed up by Alicia Paris Fairclough were already regional champions and with over 2,000 spectators and 5 national judges, the team were not only awarded first place but they also brought home two runner-up championship prizes.
