The Bolton College Jobs and Skills Fair took place on Thursday 25th September and as always it was a huge success. Dozens of local companies exhibited to showcase their job, volunteering and training opportunities to the thousands of people who attended.
Bolton St Catherine’s Academy has successfully bought the WW1 Memorial Board that was originally from the Bolton Municipal County Secondary School, using money they received from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
After three successful years, Bolton’s award-winning Jobs & Skills Fair – a free event which is held in partnership with Bolton College, Bolton Council, Bolton at Home, Job Centre Plus and the University of Bolton – is back this week to help the town’s unemployed find work.
Ice bucket challenges have been completed across the country recently and Alliance Learning apprentices and staff members were the latest company to take part in the challenge.
All businesses should have a first aid policy, regardless of how many employees you have. Even if it’s just having a single first aider with one first aid kit, you should have a policy in place.
