Did you know that your business could qualify for free training from Alliance Learning?

The European Social Fund is open for businesses who are wanting to up skill their staff but may not have the budget to fund the training. The European Social Fund or ESF is a £14 million skills support for workforce project for businesses to enhance their skills and allow their business to grow.

Companies that qualify are those that have no more than 250 staff, are over the age of 19 or are self-employed for a minimum of 8 hours a week.

There is a choice of interesting courses available with Alliance Learning, including:

(all of these courses are for 1 day only unless otherwise stated.)

Health and Safety  

  • First aid emergency at work
  • British safety council risk assessment

Management and professional development

  • Telephone techniques
  • Time and priority management
  • ILM Certificate in team leadership and team skills (1 day per week for 12 weeks)

Working at heights

  • IPAF
  • PASMA

IT

  • Outlook
  • Word processing
  • Access
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Keyboard A-Z
  • European computer driving licence level 2 (6 week course, 1 day a week.)

E-Business

  • Sage bookkeeping stage 1 or 2 (plus test.)
