At 2am on the last Sunday in October the clocks will turn back an hour, making the mornings slightly lighter and evenings darker. The date the clocks go back, 26th October, also signifies the official end of British Summer Time. The clocks went forward by an hour on 30th March this year to give us lighter summer evenings.
