When is the best time to book an entertainer? Some can cope with last minute bookings, and some don’t like to do that. It depends on how busy they are and what time of year it is. For example, just forget last minute bookings at Christmas – an extremely hectic time of the year for good performers. However its always worth asking, but be prepared to hunt around a bit and you might not get the one you wanted.
Weddings are planned way in advance and if you already have your venue, photographer, cake and the basics sorted, don’t forget entertainment too. A year, 6 months is really good. Get the date in the diary for both you and the entertainer and avoid disappointment and have the entertainer of your choice at your special day.
For parties, both adult and children’s, as soon as you know when the event is start making enquiries with your entertainer of choice. If you have the venue, book your entertainer. Good performers get booked up quickly, and weekends when parties often happen are busy times. The sooner you book, the more peace of mind you have and it’s useful for the entertainer to be able to block out that time in the diary that is now yours!
