If you are stuck at home, or working from home keeping the NHS safe and yourselves from the lethal lurgy, you can still support local businesses and help keep them working and supporting your requirements, or doing fun things. Check out your favourites on Facebook, their website and other social media to see how you can support them in these strange times.

Here are a few local suggestions:
Check out the Best of Hastings events page and deals page to see what is going on. Best of Hastings Offers

Have you been taking photos at home of your time trapped? Why not have them revved up by Alice Wonderland Photography Alison Wonderland Photography, digital queen. If you need some hints and tips on taking imaginative photos then Alison has a Facebook page with all kinds of creative ideas brilliant challenges and top notch tips. Wonderland50 FaceBook page

How about improving your social media skills? Why not have a one-to-one with Cale from Social Bee Social Media. Again I can highly recommend him as Cale is the one that helps me with mine, very good value and a really nice chap!

Don’t forget to check out local amenities like Hastings Museum and Art Gallery where you can design your own Roman coin as a fun activity. Hastings Museum FaceBook page
Or perhaps you can virtually visit Hastings Contemporary where you can have a robot tour of an exhibition. And can also look at the wonderful art of Sir Quentin Blake who has illustrated many fabulous children’s books. Hastings Contemporary Exhibitions

Danny the Idiot (that’s me!) is creating and performing at home, and you can see this on video. I’m learning as I go along and so the first video was a bit rough. I will be filming this week and editing with a little more care. You can follow me on Youtube here Danny The Idiot YouTube channel. Please subscribe to get notified when the next one is showing. In the meantime I give you a far more polished video produced by the great team led by Martin Knapp at https://www.bookable.online/ Here is the link to the wonderful video of An Idiot Prepares.

I’m thinking of other ways to entertain you online or without contact. Would you like a virtual party via Zoom? Or perhaps when restrictions ease off balloon deliveries? How about a virtual 5 minute live Birthday Card?! What do you think? Have you any other ideas? I’m listening!

Keep safe, keep entertained!
