1066 Target Sports provides half-term activities which are fun across all ages and abilities! The huge indoor activity centre is located just off the A21 in St Leonards and provides fun and engaging activities across a range of Target based sports. From live rim fire with a .22 sports rifle, to air rifles, crossbows and more! You can even participate in Axe, Knife or Shovel throwing! Or even have a go at Nerf Wars!

Clambers Children’s Play Centre where youngsters can have fun and play every day both indoors and out. Clambers is a multi-faceted play centre with a range of entertainments for children across the ages. There is a soft play area for the littles ones including a ball pool, for the older ones there is a Wild West area with ‘bull ride’- hang on to your hats, and slides of course. Gambling tables including roulette and cards on which participants can trust their luck are themed toward the Wild West theme – but no guns are allowed! The Outdoor area has a Combat Zone, in which youngsters can indulge their Rambo tendencies in complete safety.

Clambers offers a huge garden area, a gi-normous climbing frame, paddling pool, mega sized sand pit – great for building sand castles, and playhouses. There are picnic tables so that Mum and Dads can enjoy chilling out over a coffee whilst watching over the little ones at play. There are full amenities available and on duty first aiders always.

Clambers is a great day-out venue, there is ample free parking.

Bexhill Leisure Centre, and Summerfield Leisure Centre in Hastings offer a great deal of active fun for the entire family during half-term and throughout the Year.  Activities range from swimming to bowling, soft play to skating for all the family whether just for a few hours or for the whole day! Available are all day and half-day Holiday Clubs during the week with activities including football, swimming, racket sports, arts & crafts and more depending on the chosen site. All activities are fully supervised by our fully trained and qualified staff who will ensure all the children have a fun and active day in a safe and caring environment.

For a day out in the fresh air there is Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve this is the finest area of biodiversity management in the Borough. It is the largest area of public open space, largest nature reserve and highest designated site for biodiversity protection. The reserve consists of Hastings Cliffs Special Area of Conservation, Hastings Cliffs to Pett Beach Site of Special Scientific Interest and Hastings Country Park, as well as scheduled ancient monuments. The site is renowned as an area of archaeological importance. The nature reserve covers 345 hectares (853 acres) of coastal gill woodlands, open pasture and cliff top grassland, together with five kilometres of dramatic soft rock cliffs and coastline. Care is needed especially for families and children.

We take much for granted but there are some of the most stunning views of the south-east coast that can be viewed from the cliff tops. On clear days, you can see spectacular views of the coastline from Beachy Head to Dungeness and as far afield as Folkestone and the coast of France.

Enjoy.
