Changes to written statements of terms and conditions

Before April 2020 all employees had the right to recieve a written statement of their terms and conditions of employment.  This applied to all individuals on the payroll such as full-time and part-time staff, apprentices and fixed term workers

In April the Government extended this right to include all workers of an organisation which means all freelancers, sub contractors and the like

The rights of employees and workers means that employers have just 24 hours to provide them with this documentation

So if you have any workers who don't have a contract of employment, its time to act now
