A specialist plant centre played Santa Claus by delivering early presents to Shrewsbury Town Football Club to ensure that players and staff have a tree-mendous run up to Christmas.
More than 60 local traders will be offering handmade, home designed and artisan products and food at Shropshire Handmade and Creative Christmas Gift Fair on Saturday and Sunday (November 24 and 25).

The Severn Hospice has received an early Christmas gift of £2,000 thanks to 300 Santas who took part in the first ever Salop Santa Dash earlier this month.
Christmas came early to Shrewsbury on Sunday as hundreds of Santas left behind their reindeers and sleighs and set off on foot to take part in a fun run that raised £2,000 for Severn Hospice.
