It’s seems like we have been building up to Christmas for months and at long last the big day is almost here. Pam and I would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and hope that you all enjoy the day.
I wonder how many local people have bought all or some of their Christmas presents over the internet rather that in St.Helier? With the terrible weather this could have been a high risk strategy for those that left ordering to the last minute, I hope that all your gifts have arrived safely. As great supporter of local businesses I would be interested to hear from people who have bought locally rather than via the internet and why they made that decision. Please let me know your reasons for shopping locally or why you used the internet.
Once Christmas is over we have the New Year to look forward to and I am sure that many people will be making New Year resolutions, easy to do but always harder to stick to once the New Year enthusiasm has worn off. If anyone would like to share their resolutions with the readers of this blog and keep us updated on your progress I am sure that we will be interested to hear about your progress and we will all offer you our support.
Looking towards 2011 I am, as always, interested in feedback from local people on great local businesses that they are using and in particular as many of us will have been out to restaurants and pubs over the festive period I am interested in which have impressed and also those which you came away from vowing never to go back.
Finally I am on the look out for potential contibuters to this Blog, so if you have someting of interest that you would like to say to local people please let me know.
Wishing you all the very best for 2011.
