When is a Tennerfest not a Tennerfest?

I guess that we need to accept that the Tennerfest has now been going in Jersey for 12 years and what you could buy for £10 in 1998 will cost you a fair bit more now, however it’s called the Tennerfest for a reason and I feel that the pubs and restaurants participating should try and have a £10 menu in addition to any more expensive menus that they would like to offer.

I think that credit should be given to Randalls as all their participating pubs and restaurants have a £10 menu along with more expensive options. Details of their menus can be found on www.tennerfest.com. To make it easier the Randalls restaurants are:

• Chambers
• The Adelphi
• La Pulente
• The Portlet Inn
• The Tenby
• The Admiral
• Blush
• La Cala
• Les Fontaine Tavern
• St.Peter’s Country Inn
• The Goose

Well done Randall’s. If anyone has eaten off the £10 menu in one of these please let me know if you were pleased with your meal.

The highly recommended Victoria in the Valley and Rozel Bar & Restaurant are also offering very good £10 menus.

One other restaurant that is offering a £10 menu that has been recommended to me is The Tree House, the comment I have received is ‘The Tree House have a very good menu - 3 courses for £10. The chocolate ice cream on offer for dessert is fabulous !’ Well done to all at the Tree House.
All other comments re Tennerfest meals are welcome.
