Adams Harrison are extremely proud to announce that Leanne Mayes, a Legal Executive in the Wills & Probate Department, won the Cambridgeshire and District Law Society Trainee Lawyer of the Year Award 2015 at a presentation evening held on 27th March 2015.
Leanne joined Adams Harrison as an office junior in September 2002. She then worked her way up through the practice, to junior secretary, senior secretary and then Personal Assistant to the partner in charge of the Private Client Department.
Leanne was encouraged to further her career in the legal profession and with the firms backing studied for two years at West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds, followed by a further two years studying via distance learning through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
Melanie Pratlett, Head of department said “It was obvious from the outset that Leanne could and should study to become a Legal executive and she embarked on the Legal Executive course, excelled in it and qualified as a graduate legal executive, learning on the job, all the clients love her and I couldn’t be prouder. Receiving the award for Trainee Lawyer of the Year was very well deserved”.
