The final of the Ladies Winter Foursomes was contested between the pairing of Pat Wellstead and Mandy Williamson, (Mandy recently joined as a full member and has not long been playing golf) and the 2016 Lady Captain, Val Shipp with her partner Lyn Fish. The match was very close throughout, and by the 18th tee, Pat and Mandy just had the edge, 1 up. Lyn and Val had to win the 18th to force the match to extra play, however it was halved, securing victory for Pat and Mandy.
The Ladies 9 hole Stableford was played on Saturday 6th February. The winner was Pat Kennedy with a very commendable 19pts, despite the very blustery conditions, and the runner up was Lyn Fish with 16pts.
