As many property investors will know, as of July 8th 2020 until March 31st 2021, all property buyers in the UK are exempt from paying stamp duty on properties worth £500,000 or less. This change will affect around 90% of buyers, saving each buyer an average of around £4,500.
MANY of us have experienced the frustration of a cancelled or delayed flight, but now local solicitors Johnson Law are helping holidaymakers to claim compensation for their inconvenience.
AFG LAW launched a design competition for Bolton College art students to create a ‘Welcome to your new home’ card which they give to clients who they have assisted with the purchase of a new home. They were delighted with the entries and Jordan Heathcote, aged 17, produced the winning design which was selected by Anita Boardman and Carl Fletcher from AFG LAW’s property department. Jordan is from Farnworth and is studying a BTEC level 3 diploma in Interactive Media.
Jill Parratt and Emma Green, both family law solicitors at Bolton’s AFG LAW, have been offering a free family law drop-in clinic every Wednesday evening, between 5:00pm and 6:00pm.
LOCAL personal injury specialists Johnson Law are excited to announce they have expanded their team to provide a multilingual service to their clients.
