Last week 'Sounds Sorted', owned and run by Tim Cooke, was nominated for a National Radio Advertising [Vox] Award in the 'best use of humour' category.

For a North Devon company to be in the final 3 against all the big media outfits and commercial stations nationwide is beyond any expectation.  It’s a measure of how lucky North Devon is to have such creative talent in our midst.

It was the radio commercial for ‘Local Farm Box’ a collective organised by North Devon’s Edd’s Grocers who support farming and ‘Buy Local’ in our part of the its a great local story for everyone concerned.

The winner of the award is now decided by public vote, so it would be great for the North Devon community to show their support by going to, listening to the advert and voting for us (one vote per mobile phone)

Voting is LIVE now and runs till 13th May...

Tim the director and owner of Sounds Sorted said "I've been overwhelmed at the support from local people. I love the challenge of creating adverts that entertain and enhance the radio station output. My clients are based across the UK but I always love hearing my commercials on The Voice."

Let's show our support for Tim's talent!!!
