Countdown to HarFest
6th June 2015

We are now just weeks away until the first Harfest, a family festival, showcasing the best East Anglian beers, locally sourced food and lots of exciting activites for the children.

The Crown, at Hartest, is a 15 minute drive from Sudbury, a few miles from Long Melford. It prides itself with it's locally sourced, freshly cooked food, friendly and welcoming atmopshere and I have to say, a pretty impressive beer garden.

HarFest will be taking place between Friday 19th to Sunday 21st June. Perfect timing for those wondering how to entertain our Dads on Father's Day!

Friday's fun kicks off at 5pm, where The Crown invites you to bring down your classic car or bike to show. They'll be wine tasting from Giffords Hall, a gin and pimms bar, a beer tent with East Anglian beers and home made food and ice creams. All this, plus live music!

Saturday and Sunday will start at noon and go on until late. There are loads of planned fun and games, including croquet, live folk music, bouncy castle for the little children and an inflatable obstacle course for the older kids. Face painting and bungee racing are also on the menu, along with the wide range of beers onsale, plus gin and pimms bars (Whoop!)

Children under 3 are free, otherwise, tickets are £5

I'm really looking forward to the weekend!

Three cheers for the Summer in West Suffolk!
