It’s that time of year when flowers are sent, anonymous cards posted from a secret (or not so secret) admirer and love is in the air.

If you’re planning on a romantic outing for you and the loved one, then you won’t need to travel far. There are plenty of things you can do, right here in and around Sudbury

1.          Valentine’s Meal at The Secret Garden Wine Bar & Restaurant.

Situated in the wonderfully historic Buzzard’s Hall, the former home of Thomas Gainsborough’s uncle, The Secret Garden has a delightfully special evening planned for Valentines. A stunning menu, along with Wine pairing with each course. You must book and it’s extremely popular.

 2.          The Gainsborough Pub, Kings Street, Sudbury

 3.          The Fleece, Boxford

          If you fancy spending the evening in a cosy pub, The Fleece in Boxford is your perfect choice. With really friendly staff, a wood burner fire and a cracking selection of real ales, you’re pretty much guaranteed a great night. You can take a look at their menu here. 8.         LeeStock Music Festival, Long Melford
