The Secret Garden Café, Wine Bar, and Restaurant
The secret garden is both a popular café, Wine Bar, and restaurant, in premises next to each other on Friars Street, in Sudbury. Both are in quirky grade 2* listed buildings, with the restaurant in Buzzards’ Hall, one of Sudbury's oldest buildings and once home to Thomas Gainsborough’s uncle.

The Secret Garden Café first opened in 1999, with an ethos of freshly cooked homemade food, from organic produce and sourced from local producers wherever possible.
Situated at 21 Friars Street in the charming four hundred-year-old Grade II listed premises, the secret garden café is open for freshly cooked breakfast & pastries, light lunches & snacks and cream tea.

The Secret Garden Wine Bar and Restaurant
The Secret Garden Wine Bar & Restaurant is situated at Buzzards Hall, 17 Friars Street in this wonderful Grade 2* listed premises; one of the oldest buildings of Sudbury.
The wine bar and restaurant opened its doors in 2016 and is a haven of exquisite French cuisine, perfect for romantic meals, business lunches or simply a relaxed, rush-free meal, with delicious food.
The Wine Bar boasts over 80 wines, 15 of which can be bought by the glass. The wine bar is open to non-diners and also has a range of inviting cocktails for you to try. You can download their menu here

If you’re after a function room that seats up to 45, the secret garden wine bar and restaurant is the perfect venue for a party, meeting or business function.
Events
