One of the busiest women in Shrewsbury is fitting a lot into her 30th year. Not only does she work at a graphic design company, Holly Robinson runs a cake making company and sings! And now she's ticking off her '30 things to do in her my 30th year' list.

A fantastic chance to see works by artists from the Shrewsbury area is back across two weekends in July 2012. Shrewsbury Open Studios provides local people with a chance to meet artists, talk to them about their work and also buy directly from them.
Business professionals attending a networking meeting in Shrewsbury will be treated to hearing of future plans for a historic renovation project - as well as a tasty curry. Councillor Alan Mosely is guest speaking at The Shropshire Curry Club.

A fantastic all day and evening charity event is being held at a Shrewsbury night club to raise money and awareness of recent crises in Africa. Africa Calling will feature music, demonstrations, film, crafts and more. Make sure you support it!

A former army chef from Shrewsbury will be using his well-honed skills to turn local food into the best new dishes. Calvin Watson has served in 14 countries and cooked for royalty. You can taste his food yourself at the Shropshire Food Enterprise Centre.
Shropshire's leading caravan dealership is delighted to be supporting the county jubilee event attended by the Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh. The July 12th celebration, set to attract 50,000, will be the biggest royal event ever staged in Shropshire.

Our Shrewsbury and Atcham MP is on a mission to get local food and drink into more businesses across the region and showcase its quality. Daniel Kawczynski proposes a 'Shropshire Kitemark' and is garnering support from other MPs and local suppliers.
