The Sussex Cancer Fund supports Cancer Patients in many ways, through purchasing specialist equipment, providing additional services and funding cancer research projects but it is often the small things that make the difference.
The Sussex Cancer Fund has purchased a new ‘Toronto’ treatment chair for the Haematology Ward. The purchase was made possible by a kind donation from a recent Haematology & Oncology patient.
We are delighted to have purchased two sets of handgrip dynamometers for the Sussex Cancer Centre. They were purchased with a kind donation from the THANCS (head and neck cancer support group).

A few pennies here and there really do add up quickly but with access to our collection pots extremely limited due to the Covid Pandemic, we are asking for contributions however small to our virtual bucket collection.
The Sussex Cancer Fund is delighted to support the Albion In The Community’s project Brighter Outlook.
Our aim in 2020 was to create a sensory room for residents here at Chaseley, however, due to Coronavirus we saw all our fundraising events cancelled and so the plans were put on hold.
We support the radiotherapy clinics at The Sussex Cancer Centre (BSUH Royal Sussex County Hospital), Preston Park Radiotherapy Centre & the Eastbourne Radiotherapy Centre.

The money was collected in a vintage money box full of family history that has been expertly restored by Steve Fletcher on the BBC’s popular TV programme ‘The Repair Shop‘.
