Yeah, it was a pretty cool museum. It was quite quiet and the lady there was very nice :). I wouldn't per cé go again because it's quite a small museum but if you're in eastbourne i'd check it out. The location is also very nice, its right on the beach and you can walk to basically anything from there.

We have been here with a group of children in the age between 12 and 15.
They all had a really good time and we had the chance to talk to someone who served in the RNLI.

Being a great RNLI supporter.I always visit when on holiday This branch though small was well stocked shop.Restaurant attached for drinks and snacks Well maintained.Lovely girls serving in the coffee shop.As my snack became airborne much to the dog near bys glee.They replaced It for me.They were helpful and friendly.

A small building with a lot of history! There is a miniature museum at the back of the gift shop. Interactive displays such as yellow lifejackets for children to try on.
There is a wealth of information about Eastbourne's Lifeboat history to read on the panels, large text paired with pictures and photographs to help illustrate the info. You can see historical nautical items which were donated over the years e.g. Kapok nuts (prev used inside lifejackets). Friendly and helpful staff too.
