The Crown and Anchor is positioned directly on Eastbourne’s beautiful seafront. Visitors can expect a friendly welcome, knowledgeable and well-presented staff, alongside high-quality food and drinks.
A full menu is served throughout the day until 9pm, featuring everything from pub classics such as fish and chips through to locally-sourced specials such as slow-roasted Sussex lamb shank. Specific dietary requirements are catered for, with a full vegan menu and a gluten-free menu available.
If you are looking to have a relaxing drink by the sea, there is outdoor seating with a view towards the sea – the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail or two including an Eastbourne Iced Tea!
Private events can be hosted in the first floor, self-contained function room which has its own private bar and a sea-facing balcony with views out over the English Channel.
There is a great range of entertainment available every week; starting with a charity pub quiz every Thursday. The weekends are lively with a great atmosphere with live music every Friday and Saturday featuring the best local bands and singers. The weekend is rounded off with mouth-watering Roast dinners (with all the trimmings!!!) available all day Sunday, followed by Karaoke in the evening.
