The hotel was very good and central. We were upgraded to a room with a sea view without asking which was great. despite the exterior looking like it needed a bit of TLC, our room was huge and very clean, and seemed recently upgraded/decorated. An excellent cooked breakfast was available until 9.30 and even at 9am there was plenty of choice of hot or cold food available. There was a huge car park at the rear and 24 hours parking cost £6 which was very reasonable.
Our request to check-in an hour and a half early was dismissed without any reason by receptionist. Having been told by two different members of staff that the bar would close between 10.30 and 11pm the barman on duty was starting to close up at 10.10 when we got back from the theatre but eventually called last orders at 10.30 and gave us 5 minutes notice to order two more drinks. There were two tiny lifts but only one was working during our stay.

The catering team also went above and beyond to look after us and our guests, and we were so grateful for their care and attention throughout the day.

This coworking space is in great location, in the centre of town located inside the Beacon shopping centre. I was warmly welcomed by Eimear who signed me and gave a short tour around the the shared space.
There are a number of bookable meeting rooms and at least 2 sound proof pods to make confidential calls. There are 2 banks of desks with monitors you can use, first come first served or you can book a desk with a monitor in advance. Internet speed was very good. Despite the office having around 10 people when I visisted, it was very quiet, people were respectful of those around them when they were doing calls.
You get coffee, tea, milk and dairy free alternative milk. Communal fridge if you're bringing your own lunch.
Both Eimear who welcomed me and Nicola who signed me out were very friendly, a great credit to the Foundry.
Overall a great a experience, I would visit again if I needed to work in the area.
Tip for finding it. Enter via the Terminus Road entrance opposite Buffet Time Restaurant, then it's just inside on the left, next to MOSS/MiniSo.
