A great venue; fab staff, amazing views and always a warm welcome. The staff at the Cumberland have - for a long time - been amazing supporters of Chestnut Tree House children's hospice, putting on regular fundraising events as well as promoting awareness of the respite care offered to families by the charity. Lucy just opened this and was doing so well before Coronavirus hit and now she's had to close in the really important time she should be able to build her business with word of mouth publicity etc. She was hoping to feature in Your Cat magazine, which was starting a cat cafe monthly feature - but of course all that has stopped now. I loved it there, it was so quiet and peaceful, it was my favourite place to hang out as an autistic person, and near to the library as well. I am so worried they will have to close and never be able to reopen now, and the Jigsaw cafe is gone too :( Most cafes are much too noisy for me and I get sensory overload.
