Perfect location on sea front opposite the pier. We had a superior sea view room which was wonderful.
The staff were so welcoming and friendly, always chatty and social able. We did half board. The evening meal was nice, catered for the masses I guess. But just not very adventurous.

The hotel was situated on the front which was a good location.The staff are all very friendly,always very helpful.The food was very good,a lot of choices.The room was just a standard,so could do with abit of refurbishment.
The room could have done with abit of a thorough clean.Dust on skirting boards,and a good hoover.Bathroom needs an upgrade.

We paid for a sea view, but room was very noisy (heavy metal band playing in the basement of the cafe below us). Moved to a room at the back. No sea view, but quiet.

The staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. I only went B&B, but the breakfast had a reasonable selection, and was regularly refreshed.
The building is in desperate need of some tlc, but having stayed in many Eastbourne hotels, this is normal, and THe Burlington is a little bit above average on this score.

A perfect location to watch the air show and the hotel is big enough to not feel over crowded
We have stayed at the Burlington before and our experience was very good. All the staff were kind and friendly and went all out to please. The breakfast was lovely with something for all tastes. The location is just right for watching the air show and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
The air con wasn't working in the bar area which was not good and the windows were a little grubby.

Ideal spot right near the pier.
Stayed for the weekend for the airshow. Very dirty behind the scenes, had to go down the stairs as lift was very slow, went past where the clean laundry is stored and the floor on every level was filthy, pavement outside was cleaner.
Rooms could be a lot cleaner as well.

Good position for shops and parking - used multi story for 5 nights.
Comfortable beds, good quality clean bedding.
Towels of good quality, clean and soft. There was some cleaning issues.
When changing bag in bin in room the actual bin itself was extremely dirty - I do see this as a germ spreader - I feel that this a health hazzard and bins should be washed regularly on room change.
Yes there's chipped/flaking pain work but that doesn't override the comfortable stay.
We had one table top fan, being a sea view room this wasn't really enough - pulling curtains did help but room extremely hot.
The bathroom was big enough to accommodate a small unit and chair to put toiletries as shelf tiny.

Eastbourne seafront stay
Fabulous location beach is opposite the hotel. Our room was a superior double with a sea view. Room had high ceilings and extremely spacious. Staff are really friendly. We will definitely be checking in to this hotel when we return to Eastbourne 😃
