Very good hotel
Excellent location free upgrade to a sea view room overlooking the pier. very close to shops and restaurants. private car park for £6 a night friendly and efficient staff .hotel food breakfast and evening meal very good. entertainment at night quiz and singer which as a group of 4 we enjoyed would return and reccomend

We had a very good short holiday and enjoyed our stay.
Our twin room with sea view was very comfortable with good beds and a table and two arm chairs. There was also a good wardrobe and plenty of drawers. The bathroom was a bit old-fashioned but beautifully clean. The pillows were rather

Only one lift was working which was a nightmare when you have people unable to use the stairs. Had to wait a long time as so many people trying to use the one working lift which was very small.

Everything was very well organised and delivered. The building is dated but scrupulously clean. The staff were welcoming, helpful and kind-hearted, There was a singer in the Ballroom in the evening which was good. My only complaint is that the TV in my room wouldn't work. It would switch on but not access any channel. Also, the lifts were very small so there was usually a queue for them. The price was very fair although I had to pay £6/night for parking. Breakfast was excellent - everything you could want and perfectly cooked. I don't know how they kept the buffet so fresh. I've stayed at many more expensive hotels that couldn't match it! The location was excellent - right on the seafront opposite the pier. I will stay there again - first choice.

I have stayed at The Burlington several times and always had a good experience. Friendly helpful staff, great location opposite the Pier and clean rooms. The hotel is obviously quite old and as such some parts can appear a bit worn but this is understandable. It overs good value in a great location would definitely stay again.

Overall a pleasant stay with friends with comfortable bedrooms and a great sea view near the pier.
The hotel was very good and central. We were upgraded to a room with a sea view without asking which was great. despite the exterior looking like it needed a bit of TLC, our room was huge and very clean, and seemed recently upgraded/decorated. An excellent cooked breakfast was available until 9.30 and even at 9am there was plenty of choice of hot or cold food available. There was a huge car park at the rear and 24 hours parking cost £6 which was very reasonable.
Our request to check-in an hour and a half early was dismissed without any reason by receptionist. Having been told by two different members of staff that the bar would close between 10.30 and 11pm the barman on duty was starting to close up at 10.10 when we got back from the theatre but eventually called last orders at 10.30 and gave us 5 minutes notice to order two more drinks. There were two tiny lifts but only one was working during our stay.

Enjoyable stay
Location was excellent.. Welcome by staff at reception was also excellent. Size of room very good, comfy and clean beds with generous tea and coffee supplies and bathroom supplies.
Very small lift made us laugh. Bathroom could do with some sprucing up with mastic and door painting. This didn't unduly detract from our stay. Room was quite warm at night.

overall a very good stay
breakfast was very good, excellent choices. also he view was lovely - the pier right out front and beach and promenade. we liked the large comfy room.
the shower pressure was too weak, there was limescale build up in the bathroom and we would have liked the bathroom window to have been able to open, also we would have liked the bedroom windows to have been able to open wider.
