The staff were very nice, the food was ok (we only had breakfasts and bar snacks) plus the location was suitable for visiting the air show on this occasion
This was the 3rd time we stayed there this year Our bedroom (412) especially the bathroom, requires attention. Thick dust on the pipes beside the toilet and grid missing from the sink waste.
We noticed a large cobweb on the ceiling as we were leaving this morning
Also, the wood on the window frame is rotting away.

Noisy outside, for once I had a sea view I thought was a good thing, but probably quieter with a view of the car park.

Staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious and clean. People standing around the front door smoking, while I know this isn’t strictly the hotels fault, there was no signage to say it shouldn’t happen.
The shower was under powered and leaking.

An enjoyable staff with lovely staff.
Our room had a lovely view, I got a photo of a fantastic sunrise. Lots of choice at breakfast time. We had our meals in the bar and the staff were exceptional ..... helpful and friendly.
Bathroom was clean but could have done with a deep clean, behind toilet etc.
We had a problem trying to keep the window open a little as it was a very hot weekend.

Best dog friendly hotel
Hotel is in a great location, across the road from the beach and walking distance to shops, restaurants, pier and bus stop. Hotel has a car park and is dog friendly. Dining room serves breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately dogs are no longer allowed in the dining room , so had to have our breakfast in the foyer area at one of the tables and just go back and forth to the dining room to get food and drinks.
Hotel needs updating and it's very hot inside the building!

The hotel is partly refurbished so certain areas are rsther dated and chipped..outside the hotel is a lot of roadworks so the town is also being updated..it will be lovely once completed

Staff were excellent. Both before and during stay. As 2 90 year olds we appreciated the consideration shown.

The lock into the room was problematic and is apparently going to be replaced.

The coffee maker instructions were on line, I don't have a smart phone. Although a staff member did show me how to use it, a reference guide would have been useful.

Exactly what we were looking for.
Everything was fine. We would like to compliment Phoebe at the reception as she really helped us get a suitable room for my father, who is an OAP, on two visits in a row. She went the extra mile on both occasions, with a smile and enthusiasm to accommodate my father's needs. She is the exact sort of employee you would want to greet you at any hotel you visit. Thank you!
