Pleasant Staff, as usual, were pleasant and friendly. I requested a walk-in shower as I am disabled, and cannot get into a bath. The hotel changed the room for us, but it took a long time (hotel was very full) and dominated much of our day which was our special wedding anniversary.

Could be a lot better with low cost The sea view Poor standard of en suite :
Lack of shelves and hooks to hang toilet bags and clothing
Shower difficult to adjust no power in spray
No ramp to enable person with mobility problems ease of access into hotel
Sash windows in bedroom rattled at night with wind
Insufficient electric soskets to allow for charging of mobile phones etc.

Enjoyable short break Friendly staff, location, requests facilitated Sadly it’s a bit tired and needs some tlc in certain areas, it’s a shame the current company that own it aren’t keeping it up to the standard of a prime position hotel deserves.

Lovely friendly staff. Great breakfast Great location and we had a very enjoyable stay Not of any great importance but room servicing could have been better as the bed was never made. Duvet was very annoying.g as it didn't fit the cover

excellent seafront location central for the pier and eating places, it also has the bonus of carparking, which is at a premium in the area. We just needed a room for 1 night and this place provides great value for money. The room was clean and tidy, if a little dated but as it was just for sleeping in it had everything we needed. Helpful staff, we paid for the breakfast which was OK.

Very run down and shabby. Needs some work. Food was okay but it was pre-prepared and you had to order at breakfast. It was okay for the price paid for food. Shower was very slow with little water, but was hot.
Excellent location and lovely staff who were very helpful

Very nice time View from hotel entrance straight onto the pier and beach very lovely. Also lovely big rooms and comfortable beds. Also lovely breakfast. Prices of bar drinks was very pricey. View of bedroom window wasn't good. Lifts very small and slow need updating.

Charming Hotel on the front at Eastbourne Staff extremely helpful and kind. Charm of old hotel.
Proximity to sea front. Superior twin room with sea view. Been here last 4 years.
Leaky windows when weather cold. Toilets too low. These problems remedied by maintenance staff.
Evening meal menu. Ate out a few times. Breakfast ok but good value. You get good staff working in difficult conditions .

The Burlington , as a song says , is a faded rose from days gone by . It obviously needs some major refurbishment work , new lifts , a complete repaint inside and out etc etc etc .
However ; it’s sort of charming !!! Those creaky floors . Those awful windows . The lifts !!!
OK . It’s old , but we enjoyed our stay here . Great location and sea views too .

Central seafront hotel at a budget price Central location; price; welcoming staff and budget priced parking..oh and seaview .
Rooms were apotless: corridors smelt fresh.
Room and bathroom sizes good 👍
To be fair, the exterior needs attention..even the balconys outside of the bedroom and the dining room would benefit from a good sweep. And the window frames need work. BUT to allow for that level of maintenance costs.it would need more staff and more staff means more wages...This is.a large seafront hotel offering budget prices. 159 rooms....thats a lot of window work!

The staff are very welcoming, food okay, cleaning - poor As always, the hotel staff were lovely Our room was a little grubby on arrival, thick layer of dust on the skirting board and something splashed on the wall. We stayed three nights and the room was never cleaned, we had to ask for clean towels after two days as the leaky shower hose had drenched the bathroom floor and we had to use our towels to mop up.

We had a seafront room on 4th floor overlooking the pier and the beach, the weather was glorious so had windows open at night and could hear the waves, which was nice.
The hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly, breakfast was hot and cold buffet and had plenty of choice and was replenished when needed.
One of the 2 lifts was very cramped and made awful noises so was scared to use this one. The hotel does look a bit tired and dated, but it was clean and the friendly staff made up for the tiredness. It is a massive building and will cost a fortune to update.
