Noisy Breakfast was excellent, room itself was OK and location superb, staff on reception and car largely good apart from being greeted initially when we arrived at 2.40pm " You are too early we said check in was 3pm you will have to come back" I think that some customer service training here would be needed We hardly slept very creaky floors above and a couple of guys came in about 1.30am then proceed to talk loadly and continually walk around until 5.30am.

No consideration for other guests, resulted in 2 hours sleep for my wife and I

I have stayed at the Burlington once before with my son and on both occasions enjoyed our time. The hotel is in an excellent location with the sea just across the other side and walking distance of both town and train station. The staff are excellent and polite. We were booked for both evening meal and breakfast, both of which was excellent with good choices of both, drinks at the bar were good quality and reasonable prices. Our room was a good size comfortable beds and good size tv. The bathroom could need some grouting around the bathroom area.

Just arrived at the Burlington hotel Eastbourne stayed here in August had a standard room that was clean and spacious. But very disappointed this time the room as a bath not a shower room. shower is in bath paint pealing by the window wall. TV wall as hand prints carpet is quite dirty and behind the sink is quite dirty. We came back because we were impressed last time but we are disappointed this time.

The hotel really needs a complete refurbishment. The ceiling in our room had water stains. It was not clean at all. One pillow provided on the bed. Shower gel dispenser was empty. Carpets outside of the room stained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, we would not stay there again. Booked a sea view and got a side room with partial sea view.

I wanted to spend my birthday by the seaside and Berlington Hotel was perfect, not very far from the pier and public transport .My room was perfect with sea view, very spacious with a shower .Very friendly and helpful staff. I think more waiters should be available as we had to get our drinks ourselves from the bar to the dining area ,there was loads of elderly, guests with mobility issues and difficult to carry drinks while waking,so that would be extremely helpful.

Unfortunately the Burlington is what I would call tired, it had all the facilities that you need and the young lady that checked us in was very pleasant, friendly and efficient. We were booked into a superior twin room with sea view. The room was clean and tidy but as I said tired everything could do with a spruce up from the outside to lifts and the corridors. A satisfactory stay and it did what we needed, a one night stay for a visit to the theatre.

I recently stayed at The Burlington Hotel in Eastbourne with my husband, and it was a thoroughly delightful experience from start to finish. The hotel has classic charm with elegant Victorian architecture and it's perfectly situated right on the seafront, offering beautiful views of the coast and the iconic pier. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay—friendly without being intrusive, and always happy to assist. The room was clean, comfortable and well-kept, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. I especially appreciated the little touches like the complimentary tea and coffee, and the large windows that let in lots of natural light. Breakfast was lovely each morning with plenty of variety and generous portions, served in a bright, spacious dining room. The atmosphere in the hotel was calm and relaxed, ideal for anyone looking to unwind by the sea. Location-wise, you really can't beat it. The hotel is just steps away from beach, and a short stroll to shops, cafes and theatres. It’s the perfect base for exploring Eastbourne and the surrounding area, including Beachy Head and the South Downs. All in all, I’d definitely recommend The Burlington Hotel to anyone looking for a charming and well-located hotel on the East Sussex coast. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. ✨

loved it,loved it loved it The Staff were helpful and friendly, The food was Exceptional, great value for money "where else can you get a three course meal for £22.00" My room was fabulous so much space, the bed was comfy I had a seafront room was so good to sit in the window both in the morning and evening looking out to sea hearing the waves coming in "Loved it". Saturday evening entertainment was good would have been good to have a rail next to the sink for the towel.
