A huge barrier to employment for those with little to spare is being able to afford a nice suit or presentable attire when attending interviews. This is where local charity Working Wardrobe is here to help.

Working Wardrobe helps men and women alike to find suitable clothing to wear in order to make a good first impression at the interview. They want to give people the best possible chance of making the right first impression to be successful in getting that job.

They offer a one to one appointment in a town centre store to choose an outfit and accessories- with the customer being given this outfit to keep at no cost to them. The customer will also get final interview preparation advice.

Should the customer be successful in that interview they will return to the store and be given additional clothing and more importantly be given in work support for as long as they need it.

This is vitally important as making that transition from benefits to work is often a difficult and troublesome period. They will be assigned their own officer that will help with any issues that may prevent the client sustaining that employment- this support will be tailored to their needs.

You can help Working Wardrobe by donating any un-wanted clothing in store that would be suitable for men and woman attending interviews and new professional job roles. Please do pop in store or get in touch to discuss donating below.
