We are thrilled to announce that several of our bestof Bolton members have been shortlisted at the 2013 Bolton and Bury Business Awards.
The Purple Property Shop is one of 3 businesses up for Customer Excellence. The business has had rapid growth in the last few years so it’s great that they have been recognised.
Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme is in the running for the Community Award. This local charity do a lot of work with young, homeless people in Bolton.
Clever IT are nominated in the Creative Award. The Creative Award is for businesses who show inititive and flair and prove how they are using the latest in technology to provide a positive impact on their business and for their clients. Clever IT work with their clients to find the right IT solutions for them, often using bespoke technology solutions to help them make the most out of their business.

Whitecroft Garage have been chosen as one of the top 3 in the category of Best Company for Apprentice Development. Apprentices at Whitecroft combine working for the company with time in college. They are all given a mentor to guide them during their training.
One of our newer bestof Bolton members, Synergy Dental, could win Business Person of the Year. Dr Zuber Bagasi is the clinical director of Synergy Dental and has also been commended as best young dentist at the North West Young Dentist Awards.
Finally, Carrs Pasties might be double award winners if they top both the categories they are in. They could win Family Business and the We’re Backing Bolton/Bury Award. The We’re Backing Bolton/Bury Award is sponsored by us at the bestof Bolton. Nelly Carr began baking the pasties in 1939 and her ancestors have now continued the family business.
