What's happening at Bolton Lads and Girls Club this summer?

Bolton Lads and Girls Club are once again running their terrific holiday club over the summer holidays and children are able to attend from just £5 per day.

There is tons going on throughout the 6 week summer holidays at the club to keep everyone entertained. Any youngster aged between 8-12 is welcome to attend, as long as they are a member of BLGC. It’s open 8am-6pm between Monday 21st July and Friday 29th August. It is only closed for bank holiday on Monday 25th August. Download a booking form

The full breakdown of costs is

Advanced booking on or before Sunday 20th July: £5 8am-6pm and £3 11am-6pm.

Bookings made on or after Sunday 20th July: £8 8am-6pm and £6 11am-6pm

 BLGC try and make their activities as fun as possible, but at the same time encouraging physical, social, emotional and creative skills in the children. Some of the brilliant activities on offer include:

  • Football
  • Dance
  • Arts and crafts
  • Trampolining
  • Indoor and outdoor activities

There is even an on-site chef who can prepare delicious homemade specials from just £1.

Any budding footballers will love the football camps that Bolton Lads and Girls Club are organizing too. There are two during the summer holidays; between Monday 28th July and Friday August 1st and Tuesday 26th August and Friday 29th August. It’s open for 6-13 year olds.

These camps take place at the Hacken Lane Playing Fields, Hacken Lane, Darcy Lever, Bolton. BL3 1SD between 9.30am and 3.30am.

All the coaches are either Level 1, 2 or 3 qualified and the cost for this marvellous camp is only £6 per day, excellent value for money.

Any child attending the camp must bring their own shin pads, boots and waterproof clothing. A tuck shop is available for children to purchase snacks and drinks throughout the camp. You can book online here. 

Finally, Bolton Lads and Girls Club are proud to launch CADS (children’s able and disabled sports.) The aim of this project is to encourage disabled young people to get involved in sports and recreational activities, like football, climbing and badminton to increase their experience of independence. 8-12 year olds can join in with these past times every Tuesday and Wednesday between 10am and 3pm from just £5 per day.
