The 1st to 5th September is National Payroll Week, as organised by the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals.

Everyone who is employed has a particular day, week or month that they get paid and rely on payroll being on time to pay bills, put towards savings or something else entirely. It’s really annoying when you don’t get paid on time.

The theme for this year’s National Payroll Week is informing the public is raising awareness about what payroll actually means and what information is presented on pay slips. Pay slips should show what deductions have come out of your wage for things such as student loans, national insurance and income tax.

At Wilds Accountants they have a dedicated payroll department to support your business in this area. They can run your company’s payroll for you and send out regular pay slips, tax and national insurance paperwork.
