Dig out your spade and trowel, it’s time for National Gardening Week, which runs between the 14th and 20th April 2014.
Every gardening week has a different theme and this year it’s trying to encourage more people to get involved in gardening, or continue to garden if they already do.
The other theme is wildflowers. Organisers of National Gardening Week want to encourage people to plant wild flowers and meadows in their gardens if possible. Wildflowers are vital for spreading pollen via insects.
Gardens have been around since the Roman times, when the soldiers adorned their gardens with fountains and plants. Many of these are still around today.
Mojo Trust offer lots of different spring services, perfect for this time of year, like grass cutting, fencing and painting, all at very inexpensive prices and no job is too big or too small for them. Their telephone number is 01204 689915.
