As the Easter Holidays approach we are all looking for ways to keep the children occupied.

The little ones will love Bolton’s best indoor play centres, Fidgets and Whales and Snails. They can run, jump and tumble around the soft play areas all day long if you wish.Little Spadgers is another fantastic place to let the little ones run wild.

The Albert Halls have got some great shows on over the Easter period. A local dance group will be putting on a two day showcase and the hilarious Blofeld and Baxter will be sharing their memories of test match cricket.

Bolton Arena are holding their frequent comedy night on the 22nd March which is sure to raise a smile. Cineworld will be showing all the big Easter releases, including Gi Joe, Jack the Giant Slayer and Trance.

Bolton Libraries and Museums will be putting on their usual half tern activities. Why not visit the fascinating exhibition all about the life of fashion designer Constance Howarth or the family history workshop. The Easter and Spring Toddler Tales will showcase Easter themed toddler tales and on the 26th March there is an animal workshop and a cards and craft session.

Queens Park will play host to its annual Easter egg hunt on the 23rd March, and so will Little Lever Cricket Club and Rock Hall on Easter Sunday itself.

If you want more chocolate then just Easter eggs, visit My Little Wrapper for tasty personalised chocolates and sweets and snacks. Walkdens Newsagents have a great pic n’ mix machine and Snack in The Box will even deliver to your workplace.

Once you’ve indulged on too much chocolate, indulge in a pizza or pasty instead. Dominos do a great home delivery service and the Carrs Pasties tasty better every time you eat one! Cafe Eden serves up the classic English breakfast, jacket potatoes and many more and Cake Delight’s cakes almost look too good to eat. For a truly oriental experience, a visit to The Chinese Buffet this Easter is a must. Barrons of Beef will provide mouth watering Easter lunches and dinners, and as well as excellent pub lunches, The Beaumont Arms and The Jolly Carter will both be holding Easter themed events so pop in and see them.

So, with all this going on, you’ll never hear the words “I’m bored” ever again.
