Bolton Hospice has a wide range of services for adults living in Bolton who have cancer or none cancer relating life limiting injuries. It is delivered free of charge in their inpatient unit, support services and hospice at home team. The team provide the highest possible care to all their patients and their families.

Bolton Hospice are due to open up a new shop later this year on Knowsley Street, and are looking for volunteers to help run it. They will be holding 2 recruitment days on the 13th August and the 22nd August between Midday and 2pm in the Walker Suite of the Victoria Halls if you want to be find out more. The Bolton Hospice shops are vital to help keep the hospice running. Even though it costs £400 an hour to operate, a massive £300 of that has to be funded by Bolton Hospice itself.

There are many ways you can help raise funds for Bolton Hospice. You could join their lottery scheme. For only £1 a week, you could be in with a chance of winning prizes up to £1,000. Between now and December Bolton Hospice need volunteers to help with collections in major supermarkets across Bolton. Visit their website for a full list of dates. There are other opportunities to in being a volunteer van driver, creative therapy volunteer, lottery volunteer, mascot volunteer and more.
