Alliance Learning have announced details of two excellent courses, CITB Site Safety plus Health and Safety Awareness Course and Paediatric First Aid.
The next CITB course takes place on August 20th at Alliance Learning’s headquarters in Horwich. It only costs £125 plus VAT and is important for everybody to know about health and safety in the workplace
The aims of the course is to make sure that everyone knows what their own responsibilities are when it comes to safety in the workplace, ensure all staff know why they have to do what they want to and make sure they contribute to safety in the office.
So by the end of the course everyone who attends should:
Details on the health and safety law
Appreciate the need to prevent accidents
Understand why risk assessments and method statements need to be carried out
Know how their position is part of the safe running of a company
Will know why they should report unsafe acts to stop an accident
Be able to ask for advice on how to perform their duties safely
The other new course at Alliance Learning is the 2 day Paediatric First Aid Course. People working with children will learn about adult, child and baby first aid procedures on this course. You will be continually tested throughout the 2 days. Subjects covered on the course include
CPR
Choking
Burns and scalds
Allergies and more.
