The first Bingo Game was played around 1530 - Yes its that long ago, the first recorded version of Bingo seems to have been played in Italy in 1530
Bingo Came to Britain in the 1950's- Bingo only made it to the UK around 1950 but it soon became popular with the post war population and thats when bigger operators such as Rank (Mecca) came into their own.
Online Bingo is now huge - Canadian Firm Parlay Entertainment claim to have launched online bingo in 1996 but seems to struggle holding onto UK and european customers
