Salvation Army Annual Bolton Toy Appeal is about to get underway in Bolton and they need your help.
Last year The Salvation Army faced unprecedented demand for gifts and food parcels.
They gave out approx 400 gift parcels, newly knitted baby clothes and approx 600 food parcels.
All items donated will be used locally to help those finding it hard to make ends meet and buy gifts for their children (up to age 18) this Christmas. These gifts are distributed through partner groups that request help. They also help homeless/vulnerable adults and generally try to give them a present at Christmas too as for many of them life isn't easy.
Can you help by donating new toys/gifts or tinned/dry foods to The Salvation Army as any of these items would be greatly appreaciated.
