The Purple Property Shop opened its doors on the 1st September 2010 and hasn't looked back since.  

In their first year of trading they have been instructed to sell over one hundred and twenty houses, and find a tenant for over thirty rental properties.  

To celebrate the Purple Property Shop's first birthday they ran a competition for all of their customers, offering one lucky winner a pair of corporate hospitality tickets to watch Bolton Wanderers against Manchester Utd.  

The draw took place at The Purple Property Shop's newly opened offices in Astley Bridge and a winner was independently selected at Random by Janet from The Bolton News.  The winner Mrs Christine Rothwell of Rostron Road, Ramsbottom said 'I've never been to a football match before, and now I'm going in style'.  The prize worth over £500 includes a four course pre-match meal.

In a very short space of time The Purple Property Shop have developed an unrivalled reputation for customer service and value for money.  

The Purple Property Shop are the only independent Estate Agent in Bolton who advertise properties on all five of the top five property websites: Rightmove; Zoopla; Find a Property; Prime Location; and email4property.  They also advertise on thirty other websites and every week in The Bolton News to ensure their customers achieve the widest possible coverage.  They guarantee that every house will be shown in the Bolton News a minimum of every 4 weeks!

Customer Service is paramount to The Purple Property Shop's philosophy which starts with a quality marketing plan including:

Managing Director, Matt Jones who is a qualified accountant and studied management science (business statistics) at University,  says that according to Mouseprice ,property values have dropped in Bolton by nine percent over the last five years and by one and a half percent in the last twelve months.  On the face of it this seems at odds with the National picture which shows a drop of just one percent in the last five years.  However there are lots of reasons to be confident for the future, the growth during the boom period was much sharper in Bolton than in the rest of the country and consequently Bolton was hit harder in the recession than elsewhere.  The recent periods show a degree of normalisation (levelling out) which suggests that further decline is unlikely.  This coupled with the sustained low interest rates have led to a reasonable amount of consumer confidence both in terms of the number of houses being put onto the market and the number of offers for sale being received.
