The Olympus Fish and Chip Restaurant in Bolton continues to attract people from all over the country after it's refurbishment at the end of last year.

The spectacular results of the refurb, including the addition of an Orangery to the rear of the restaurant and walled courtyard with outdoor furniture were showcased recently in Lancashire Life after the magazine held a launch party and Champagne reception for 50 guests there.

The stylish, light and modern feel to the restaurant makes it a great place to enjoy a relaxing meal before going to the Theatre or taking a break from a hectic shopping trip as it central location means it's convenient for all Town Centre occasions.

Many coach firms are taking advantage of Tasos Pattichis friendly style of hospitality as The Olympus has become a regular 'stop off' on the North west's coach tour itinerary and the feed back received through testimonials for thebestof bolton suggest that the elegant waitered service provided by smart, polite men and women in black and white uniforms really goes down a treat.

Last month The Olympus was asked to provide a fish and chip meal for each of the Ironman UK 2011 contestants who completed the gruelling triathlon event and over a period of nine hours over 1000 meals were served at the finish point in Victoria Square in Bolton's town centre. The marathon sporting achievement being matched by a marathon cooking feat.

After completing a 2.4-mile swim in Pennington Flash, followed by a 112-mile ride and a 26.2 mile marathon, many of the Ironman competitors who completed the course were even more delighted to be presented with their fish and chip meal than they were their Ironman medals!

Owner of The Olympus Tasos Pattichis has built his business over a period of 23 years and is well known within the town and during the upcoming Food and Drink Festival over the bank holiday weekend in Bolton is hosting a 1940's war Weekend when he and his staff will don period costume and invite all his customers to join in the fun. "The Entertainers" from Farnworth Performing Arts will be singing at various times throughout the weekend, so why not kit yourself out in 1940's gear and go along to enjoy the fun.

The Olympus Fish and Chip restaurant is a 'fine dining' restaurant situated on Great Moor Street in Bolton and for more information about the weekends performances you can call 01204 523887.
