Terrific things to do in May half term in Bolton in 2013

May half term might only last for a week, but there’s plenty going on in Bolton to keep everyone occupied.

Bolton Lads and Girls Club are once again running their fantastic holiday club. It will be open between Tuesday 28th May and Friday 31st May 2013 for children aged between 8 and 12. They are closed on Monday 27th May for the bank holiday.  Some of the fun activities that are planned include sports and arts and crafts. School Shuttle have an action packed half term holiday club planned as well. The young people can participate in World Food Day, camping day, science activities and a roller disco. A few of their events are free, but check with School Shuttle for prices and availabilities at 01204 416990.

Bolton Arena always hold some great sports camp, where teenagers can unwind with tennis, football and other energetic past times.

If you want to go out for a meal then our bestof Bolton members are the place to go. The Chinese Buffet is the very best of Chinese food. Go back for plate after plate and you definitely won’t go hungry. The Jolly Carter and The Beaumont Arms offer scrumptious pub food. Carrs Pasties, Café Eden and Cake Delight will keep all palettes happy too. If you’d rather have the food delivered to you then Barrons of Beef and Dominos do a home delivery service you can take advantage of.

For the very young, Whales and Snails and Fidgets are amazing play centres and Little Spadgers is a fun bouncy castle hire business. They also dress up in children's characters for parties. 

Immediatly after half term is exam season for many kids. Kip McGrath can help with last minute revision. 

It’s coming up to blockbuster season and Cineworld will be showing all the big releases

Harwood Library are holding a farmyard animal’s toddler tales on Monday 27th May. From 2pm you and your child can watch puppets, have a sing song and dress up.

If you head over to Bolton Museum there’s an exciting art session. You can make your own creation using special materials.
