Royal Mail Christmas Posting Dates 2017.

Now is the time to send out festive wishes, seasonal greetings and wishes for a Happy Christmas, they can be sent to family and friends as we approach the big day, there is still time to post your cards and we thought we should advise everyone to do it now to avoid missing the deadlines.

The Royal mail always does its best to deliver on time, but they do need a little help to avoid disappointment. Time seems to pass quite quickly, we are already well into November, so here’s a reminder to Post Early for Christmas, not forgetting letters to Santa.

Within the United Kingdom recommended final posting dates for items to arrive before Christmas are:

Wednesday 20th December. Second Class post and items to be signed for.

Thursday 21st December. First class post including items to be signed for.

Thursday 21st December. Special Delivery Guarantee.

Friday 22nd December. Special Delivery Guaranteed Saturday.

Overseas Standard Airmail and International Tracking Signature Services,

Saturday 2nd December. Africa and the Middles East.

Wednesday 6th December. Cyprus, Mata, Asia, Far East and Eastern Europe (except for Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovenia).

Thursday 7th December. The Caribbean, Central and South America.

Saturday 9th December. Greece, Turkey, Australia, and New Zealand.

Wednesday 13th December. The Czech Republic, Germany and Poland.

Thursday 14th December. Canada, Finland, Sweden and the US.

Friday 15th December. Austria, Denmark, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, and Switzerland.

Saturday 16th December. Belgium, France, Ireland, and Luxembourg.

HM Forces Mail – BFPO,

Monday 11th December. International Standard to static HM Forces Mail.
