Royal Mail Christmas Posting Dates 2013

We probably send more parcels and letters around Christmas time than any other time of year, but you need to be aware of when the last posting dates are, so that all your presents and cards get to their destination before the 25th December.

The Royal Mail have put together a handy list so you know exactly when you should be posting them by.

They’ve also set up a handy reminder service so you won’t forget to get to the post box. They’ll send you an email 3 days before and a text message a day before you should be sending the items. Here is the link to that

Here’s a quick rundown of the last recommended posting dates for every continent and country:

Monday 2nd December  Airmail to Operational British Forces Post Offices


Wednesday 4th December  Asia, New Zealand,  Japan and the Far East


Thursday 5th December Australia   


Friday 6th December  Africa, Middle East, Central America, Caribbean, South America 


Monday 9th December  Cyprus, Turkey, Eastern Europe


Tuesday 10th December  Canada, France, Greece, Poland


Friday 13th December  USA and Airmail to Static British Forces Post Offices


Saturday 14th December  Western Europe (but not France, Poland or Greece)


Wednesday 18th December  UK 2nd Class and Royal Mail Signed For


Friday 20th December  UK 1st Class and Royal Mail Signed For


Monday 23rd December  Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed

 

There you have it, there’s no reason to be chasing the postman down the road with your presents now!
