... Comments

18th-24th June is recycling week and as part of this event, you will be able to recycle your 'weee' at various venues across Bolton.

If you're confused...so was I so read on and I will explain what 'weee' is.

'weee' is 'Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment and this means items such as kettles, hairdryers and games consoles. In fact any small electrical items can be recycled so long as it has the following

  • A plug
  • Uses batteries
  • Needs charging
  • Has the crossed out wheelie bin logo on it.
You can recycle your small household 'wee' at the following locations.

  • One Stop Shop, Bolton Town Hall, Victoria Square, Bolton
  • Your local recycling centre.
Once you have recycled your small item, why not fill in a prize draw card and return it with a chance of winning £200 of shopping vouchers.
