Well know Bolton Master Chef and Chief Pie Taster at Hollands Pies, Tom Bridge, is encouraging local people to take part in Bolton Hospices Pie and Peas Up to help raise funds for the charity.
The Bolton Hospice Pie and Peas Up is a brand new fundraiser to coincide with National Pie Week taking place from 2nd – 8th March, although you can hold your fundraiser anytime throughout March.
From a homemade Pie and Peas Up at home with family and friends, to doing the Pie run at lunch for your colleagues at work there are numerous ways you can take part in this fun appeal whilst at the same time supporting your local hospice by raising money.
Tom says, “Bolton Hospice is a cause close to my heart and having supported them in the past, when I heard about their new fundraiser I was keen to get involved. Bolton Hospice cares for local people at their time of need as well as supporting families. As a charity their running costs are over £2.8 million per year and they rely on the support of local people to help them meet this”.
