Bolton One is Boltons exciting new Health, Leisure and Research Centre is on site and due for completion in 2012. The project is an exciting partnership between Bolton Council, NHS Bolton and the University of Bolton and will cost £31m

With just a year to go until the opening of Bolton One it is getting exciting. As you drive past the building you can see more and more of the unveiling happening.

For Fitness there will be

An eight lane 25-metre swimming pool built to Amateur Swimming Association standards
Part of the pool will have a movable floor so it can be raised for leisure and excercise uses such as parent and child sessions or aquafit.
50 Square Metre hydrotherapy pool
Fitness suite including 70 station gym, dance and aerobics studio and community gym.
Access to university of Bolton's sports hall

Urgent Care Facilities

24 hour GP Out of Hours service base, with consulting rooms for emergency appointments
Walk-in Centre and minor injuries facilities, for expert advice, diagnosis and care without an appointment, with a GP presence as well as experienced nurses
